Evergreen pledges $250,000 to Helen K. Spears Cancer Center at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center

Evergreen Federal Bank is pleased to announce our $250,000 donation to Asante Foundation to be used in the expansion of Helen K. Spears Cancer Center at Asante’s Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon.

“Evergreen Federal Bank is proud to partner with Asante Foundation and donors who have made this center possible,” says CEO/bank president Jeff Hyde. “The expansion will enable Asante to offer infusion and cancer treatment locally. Access to these services will save lives.”

Evergreen will be recognized in the Center with the Evergreen Federal Bank Conference Room which will serve physicians, patients, families, and staff. Equipped with state-of-the-art conferencing capabilities, the space will connect Spears Center staff with colleagues at the Heimann Cancer Center in Medford. Support groups will be able to gather locally to foster healing and connection within their community.

From the moment it opened in 2001 to this expansion 20 years later, community support has played a critical role in ensuring this facility and its services continue to help people in Josephine County and beyond,” said Andrea Reeder, Asante Foundation campaign director. “Evergreen Federal Bank is a big part of that, and we are so grateful for their vision to improve patients’ lives throughout Southern Oregon and beyond.”
