Evergreen’s BearFest Bears

Originally created in 2003, Evergreen introduced BearFest with 20 life-sized, fiberglass bears displayed as public artwork in downtown Grants Pass. The bears were such a hit that Evergreen commissioned local artists to create more bears in 2004, 2005, 2010, 2014-today.

Through BearFest, over 187 have been created. Half of the bears have been auctioned to raise over $250,000 for local nonprofits. The remaining bears are part of Evergreen's permanent art collection that can be seen on the streets of Grants Pass during the summer and at Evergreen's Bear Hotel the rest of the year.

Rogue River BearFest

Seventeen of Evergreen’s Bearfest Bears have returned to Rogue River, Oregon for a visit.

Decorated, embellished, and painted by local artists, these bears will be visiting from October to the New Year for the community to enjoy.

Evergreen’s Bear Hotel Tours

In-person tours will be paused during the holiday season and will resume in early January 2026. In the meantime, we invite you to join our sponsored holiday events. You can find the full schedule on our Events page.
